Er ist Maler, Konzeptk\u00fcnstler, und hat mit \u00fcber 10.000 Exemplaren die vermutlich weltgr\u00f6\u00dfte Schablonensammlung. In seiner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malfabrik.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Malfabrik<\/a> widmet er sich der Frage, wie man mit vorhandenen Formen (den Schablonen) umgeht. Seine Werken zeigen eine Symbiose aus Systematik, Leichtigkeit, Einmaligkeit, subversivem Humor und Kniffelei. Er begann 1989 sein Studium an der Hochschule f\u00fcr bildende K\u00fcnste (HFBK) in Hamburg bei Prof. Sigmar Polke, und schloss 1996 mit dem Diplom ab.
